Good evening Iceland, this is Zürich calling! Gaysport Zürich supported by OGAE Iceland and OGAE Switzerland is organizing an Eurovision party in Zürich on November 25th called “Zürivision Song Contest: THE PARTY”. (English version below)
Bastien Venturi, einn af fyrstu meðlimum FÁSES og meðlimur í Parody Guys (sjá myndband fyrir neðan sem þið munið örugglega eftir), er meðal skipuleggjenda partýsins. Zürich-búinn Meret Baumann, sem nýlega skráði sig í FÁSES, er einnig í skipulagsteyminu. FÁSES meðlimurinn og Zumba meistarinn Flosi Jón Ófeigsson mun hefja partýið með einni af sínum frábæru Zumba rútínum.
Að loknu villtum Eurovision Zumba tíma mun DJ Flo frá svissneska aðdáendaklúbbnum taka við og halda uppi stemmingunni fram á nótt með bestu smellum Eurovision. Aðstandendur hafa verið í samskiptum við svissneskar Eurovision stjörnur og hafa nokkrar þeirra í hyggju að kíkja í partýið til að skemmta sér með aðdáendum. Engin nöfn hafa verið nefnd en lítill fugl hvíslaði að fréttaritara að Timebelle séu spennt fyrir því að mæta. Það má því búast við mikilli gleði þar sem æstir Eurovision aðdáendur alls staðar að úr heiminum munu koma saman í Zürich og dilla sér við sjóðandi heita Eurovision tóna.
„Á hverju ári reynum við að finna nýtt þema fyrir GSZ partýið og við völdum „Eurovision“ sem þema fyrir þetta ár,“ segir Bastien í viðtali við FÁSES.is. „Vegna þemans og bakgrunns okkar sem Eurovision aðdáendur og að það hefur aldrei áður verið haldið Eurovision partý í Zürich, fannst okkur Meret frábært tækifæri til að halda stórt Eurovision partý opið öllum. Við settum okkur í samband við FÁSES og auðvitað svissneska aðdáendaklúbbinn til að fá þeirra álit og stuðning. Báðir klúbbarnir tóku vel í hugmyndina um Eurovision partý í Zürich. Þess vegna erum við í GSZ stoltir að skipuleggja fyrsta Eurovision partýið sem haldið er í Zürich með stuðningi FÁSES og svissneska aðdáendaklúbbsins,“ segir Bastien og bætir við „ég er stoltur fyrir hönd FÁSES að skipuleggja fyrsta viðburð FÁSES í hjarta Evrópu. Við hlökkum gríðarlega til og við vonum að partýið eigi eftir að vekja lukku.

Bastien og Flosi (Bastien and Flosi), Meret á Eurovision í Kænugarði 2017 (Meret at Eurovision in Kiev 2017).
Bastien Venturi, one of the very first members of OGAE Iceland and also member of Parody Guys (see video below you will surely remember), is one of the organizers of the party. Meret Baumann, a newly member of OGAE Iceland living in Zürich, strengthens the organizing team. OGAE Iceland member and Zumba instructor Flosi Jón Ófeigsson will kick off the party with one of his great Eurovision Zumba routines.
After wild ESC Zumba time DJ Flo from OGAE Switzerland will take over and keep up the good mood into the night with ESC greatest hits. It has been reported that Swiss Eurovision artists have been approached by the organizers and a few of them have even confirmed that they will do their utmost to pop in during the evening to party along with the fans. No names have been revealed yet but a little bird whispered to the journalist’s ear that Timebelle is excited about the party. A lot of joy is expected where Eurovision fans from around the world will meet and wiggle with boiling hot Eurovision music.
“Every year we try to come up with a new theme for our private event and we have chosen “Eurovision” as our 2017 theme.” says Bastien in an interview with FÁSES.is. “Considering the theme and our background as OGAE Iceland members, because no Eurovision party has ever been organized in Zurich before, Meret and I thought we could throw a big Eurovision party, open for everyone, at the end of our private event. Therefore we decided to get in touch with OGAE Iceland and of course with OGAE Switzerland to get their opinion and support about it. Both clubs quickly approved and acclaimed the idea of an ESC Party in Zurich. Thus, GSZ is now proudly organizing the first ever ESC party happening in Zürich with the support of OGAE Iceland and OGAE Switzerland,“ says Bastien and adds “I am so proud, on behalf of OGAE Iceland, to organize the first ever OGAE Iceland Eurovision party ever happening in the heart of continental Europe. We are looking forward and we hope the Zürivision Song Contest: THE PARTY will be a true success.“
